 "Le
Tassinaie" is a charming Umbrian farmhouse
with a magnificent view over Lake Trasimeno
and its three islands. Located in Umbria, the green
heart of Italy, Le Tassinaie is surrounded by olive
trees, vineyards, fields and and oak-woods. Close-
by is the boarder with Tuscany.
Umbria, a region rich in history, where Etruscans,
Romans and Carthegians passed, having left valuable
traces of their presence.
Le Tassinaie is situated along the ancient road
which connected the near-by regions of the Pontific
State and the Grand Duchesy of Tuscany.
The "Agriturismo" is a most comfortable going-out
point to make beautiful excursions to the most
famous art-towns of Central-italy, such as
Assisi, Perugia, Siena, Orvieto, Spoleto, Gubbio,
Cortona, Montepulciano, Chiusi and many
others.
It is also possible to make a comfortable journey by
train to Florence or Rome and visit
them in one day.
The "Farm Le Tassinaie" is composed
of a main building, a smaller annex and a tower.
Restored with much love and loyal to the country
style and caracter, comfort is a promise to assure a
relaxing and unforgettable stay.
Le Tassinaie offers six
apartments and
one room, for a total of 20 guests (3
apartments for four persons, 3 apartements for two
persons and 1 room for 2 persons).
They are furbished with a kitchen, a bathroom and
one or two sleeping-rooms with colour and satelite
TV. Meanwhile the only room has a double-bed with
bathroom. It hasn't got any kitchen, but a fridge
and also dishes and cutlery.
Each unit is furbished in a unique theme, all based
on Umbria's history: Etruscan, Roman, Medieval,
Franciscan, Umbrian, Nostrano and Modern.
Near the reception is located a breakfast-room, a
bar and a spacious lounge with fire-place and
library, all at our guest's disposal.
For the active : free are the tennis-court (artificial
grass
surface), soccer and "Boccia".
Sports for rent are mountain-bikes, archery and
tennis-rackets
Close-by : Golf, horse-riding and water-sports.
There's as well a possibility to hire motorbikes in
Tuoro.
Immersed in the land-scaped gardens with a profusion
of flowers and their scents, the swimming-pool (15 x
7 x 1.40), a children's playground, the pergola and
a pond awaits you.
The thirty acres surrounding the farmhouse are also
at your disposal for long walks, where you can pick
fruits from the orchard; inhale the aroma of intact
nature and listen undisturbed to the sound of the
woods and their inhabitants. |

How to arrive:
From Milano: Highway A1
Milano-Bologna-Firenze-Roma.-exit VALDICHIANA
Take the expressway direction Perugia-exit TUORO
Then follow the road in direction of the village but
turn right on the crossroad in direction of
„VERNAZZANO“.
From Rome: Highway A1 direction
“Firenze”-Exit “ORTE”. Take the expressway direcion
“Perugia/Lago Trasimeno” exit “PASSIGNANO OVEST”.
Turn left direction “VERNAZZANO”.
Enter into Vernazzano , cross it all over and
then follow the road up the hill, until you see the
church and the cemetery of „Vernazzano“ in the
hights. Carry on off-road up the hill next to a
willow with horses for another kilometer – on your
right you will find „LE TASSINAIE“
